Vishay Intertechnology Inc. Q4 Profit Drops, Inline With Estimates

Vishay Intertechnology Inc. (VSH) released a profit for fourth quarter that decreased from the same period last year in line with the Street estimates.

The company’s earnings totaled $36.52 million, or $0.25 per share. This compares with $37.57 million, or $0.26 per share, in last year’s fourth quarter.

Excluding items, Vishay Intertechnology Inc. reported adjusted earnings of $89.84 million or $0.62 per share for the period.

Analysts on average had expected the company to earn $0.62 per share, according to figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts’ estimates typically exclude special items.

The company’s revenue for the quarter rose 26.4% to $843.07 million from $667.18 million last year.

Allergan Aesthetics: FDA Approves JUVÉDERM VOLBELLA XC For Improvement Of Infraorbital Hollows

Allergan Aesthetics, an AbbVie company (ABBV), announced the FDA approval of JUVÉDERM VOLBELLA XC for improvement of infraorbital hollows in adults over the age of 21. JUVÉDERM VOLBELLA XC was first approved in 2016 for use in the lips and perioral rhytids. The latest approval marks the sixth approved indication in the U.S.

“This additional indication for JUVÉDERM VOLBELLA XC demonstrates Allergan Aesthetics’ continued commitment to innovation. The eye area, including the undereye hollow, is a top concern among patients,” said Carrie Strom, President, Global Allergan Aesthetics and Senior Vice President, AbbVie.

General Motors Shares Slip 5% On Rating, Price Target Cut

Shares of carmaker General Motors Co. (GM) are down 5 percent on Tuesday’s trading following reports that analysts at Morgan Stanley have cut their rating and price target for the company.

According to reports, Morgan Stanley analyst lowered their rating on General Motors to “equal-weight”, even while reducing the price target by $20 to $55 per share. The reason behind the lowered rating is reportedly doubts over the company’s plans to scale up its production of electric vehicles.

Currently at $48.13, the stock has traded between $47.07 and $67.21 during the past 52 weeks.

Amgen Issues FY22 & Long-term Guidance – Quick Facts

Amgen (AMGN) said, for 2022, the company estimates: non-GAAP earnings per share in a range of $17.00-$18.00. Revenues are projected in a range of $25.4 billion-$26.5 billion. The company also disclosed its 2022 share repurchase plans of between $6 billion and $7 billion, including plans to buy back up to $6 billion of its shares during the first quarter of 2022.

Over 2022-2030, the company expects non-GAAP earnings per share growth of high-single to low double-digit CAGR; and revenues of mid-single digit CAGR.

American Rebel Holdings Stock Surges 70%

Shares of American Rebel Holdings, Inc. (AREB) are surging over 70% on Tuesday morning. AREB is currently trading at $3.7901, up $1.5801 or 71.4977%, on the Nasdaq.

The stock had tanked nearly 25% yesterday after the company said it priced its underwritten public offering of 2.5 million units at $4.15 per unit for proceeds of $10.5 million.

Each unit consists of one share of common stock and one warrant to purchase one share of stock. The warrants are exercisable immediately, expire five years from the date of issuance and will have an exercise price of $5.1875 a share.

The company intends to use the proceeds to repay various outstanding debts and for general corporate purposes.
