You can earn £35,000 a year plus £50,000 spending money to do online shopping
In what could be the perfect job for someone who enjoys a spot of shopping, an online marketplace has decided it's going to pay people to buy things.
And there's no risk of you ending up spending more than your wages either – with a £50,000 pot provided that you absolutely have to spend, on top of a £35,000 salary.
Oh – and you get to keep the things you spend the £50,000 too.
How is this possible? Well, online marketplace OnBuy.com has decided the best way to improve the shopping experience of its customers is to get someone to shop on it.
Managing director Cas Paton explained: “We take shopper experience extremely seriously at OnBuy.com.
"We decided to create this position in order to discover any flaws in our processes, sellers or website to ensure the best possible user experience for our shoppers."
Onbuy.com sells everything from pet beds to power tools, fashion to fitness trackers – meaning the winning candidate will hav a lot of options when it comes to spending their £50,000 budget.
"We’ve supplied a large budget in order to help candidates shop across our ranges in a bid to have more visibility of buyer experiences across our platform,” Paton said.
The only experience needed is “a proven interest in shopping and extensive experience with shopping online”.
The day-to-day job involves “buying products from OnBuy.com sellers [and] reviewing the different products and services”.
And you’ll be paid no matter how bad a custoner you are – in fact, they'd prefer you to be a problem.
“Wreak havoc with our sellers and online platform," as part of your mission to find problems, the job ad states as.
