Vodafone has struck a new four-year, €16m sponsorship agreement with the Irish Rugby Football Union that extends their partnership into 2024. IRFU chief executive Philip Browne, left, and Vodafone Ireland chief executive Anne O’Leary marked the deal at the Aviva Stadium yesterday. As part of the new agreement, Vodafone in 2020 will start to sponsor the IRFU Women’s Interprovincial Championship.

Ms O’Leary said Vodafone wants “to build the most interconnected team and fan base on the planet”.
