Anyone looking to spice things up in the bedroom may not usually count a pound shop as their first port of call.

But it turns out we're wrong, as affordable online retailer PoundShop has been spotted selling both pornstar martini and gin and tonic flavoured lube for £1.

Inspired by some of the nation's favourite drinks, there's even a Prosecco flavoured bottle, if that takes your fancy.

Originally discovered by an eagle-eyed bargain hunter in her local store, the customer then posted the fine on Facebook page Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK.

But if you don't have a local Pound Shop store, or they're already out of stock, you can still pick them up online – and there's even a chocolate orange version on the Pound Shop website too, also for £1.

Initially reported by The Sun, the original Facebook post has now racked up thousands of likes and comments.

While some are keen to get their hands on them, stating "Wow now we can combine two of the most enjoyable experiences", others are saying they wouldn't trust themselves with them, commenting "If I bought them, I would drink them!".

In a statement that we would not recommend, another Facebook user said "These are just hideous but cheaper than a bottle of gin I suppose", although that may be due to the fact there's zero alcohol content in all of the bottles.

But Pound Shop isn't the only place to get alcohol-flavoured lubes, with the likes of Ann Summers and Love Honey both also selling their own cocktail-flavoured lubricants.

While Ann Summers has a £15 cocktail flavoured lube gift set , containing Sex on the Beach, Blow Job, Slippery Nipple, Prosecco and Porn Star Martini offerings, Love Honey has a £12.99 bottle of Pina Colada flavoured stuff and a £7.99 gin and tonic bottle too.
