Planning firm sees profits soar to €474k
Profits at planning consultancy firm Tom Phillips & Associates have increased by 35pc to €474,758 in the past year.
The Dublin firm is one of the best-known planning consultancy firms in the country and has provided planning expertise for the Corrib Gas Terminal in Co Mayo, the Aviva Stadium and the €140m Central Bank HQ in Dublin.

The profits of €474,758 in the 12 months to the end of March this year come after it made profits of €352,430 in the prior 12 months.
New accounts show that in those 12 months to the end of March 2019, accumulated profits increased to €2.748m.
During the same period, the company’s cash pile also increased by €329,555, rising from €719,863 to €1.049m.
The numbers employed at the consultancy firm during the year including executive directors totalled 25.
Pay to directors, including pension contributions, last year increased by 12pc from €668,460 to €752,394.
Separate accounts recently filed by another planning consultancy firm, Declan Brassil & Co, show its accumulated profits increasing by €443,078 from €1.093m to €1.536m in the 12 months to the end of June 2018. The firm’s cash pile totalled €846,398.
