Morrisons store opening and closing times across the UK on Boxing Day

The last thing you need during the busy Christmas break is to run out of something essential like bread – or booze.

If you’re a Morrisons shopper who needs to pop out over the Christmas period, it’s wise to check opening hours before heading out to avoid disappointment.

The supermarket chain has confirmed it will be open on Boxing Day, but many stores will be operating reduced hours.

There are a few variations for branches in England and Wales and those in Scotland, Morrisons advises customers to use the store finder online tool to check details before heading out or use our handy breakdown below.

Morrisons opening times Boxing Day:

  • Scotland – All stores open from 9am-6pm and cafe branches open from 9am – 3pm. All petrol stations open from 8am – 8pm.
  • England and Wales – All stores open from 9am-6pm and cafe branches open from 9am – 3pm. All petrol stations open from 8am – 8pm.

But if you can hold off for an extra day, everything will return to normal on 27 December until New Year’s Eve.

Or you can always place an order on morrisons.com to get all your groceries delivered to your doorstep any day of the week, from 6am until 11.30pm.
