Connected: Small firms can learn lessons from bigger multinationals

Some 350 businesses gathered in Dublin’s Aviva Stadium yesterday for the Small Firms Association’s (SFA) ‘Business Connect’ summit.

The event was designed to give attendees a window into the decision-making and purchasing processes of some of this country’s leading companies. How to stand out from the crowd, case studies of successful co-operation between small and large companies, and lessons small firms can learn from multinationals were among the topics on the agenda.

Finalists in the SFA National Small Business Awards also exhibited at the event.

Pictured above are Sue O’Neill, SFA chair and managing director, Shellcove; Richard Curran, MC of the event and Irish Independent business columnist; and Catherine Moroney, head of business banking at AIB.
