Cadbury’s released 783 white creme eggs and you can get £10,000 if you find one
If you thought all your chocolate eating days were over now that Christmas 2018 is done and dusted, turns out you were wrong, as Cadbury have just announced that they’re bringing back their famous white creme egg hunt.
While it might only be the 2nd January, the quest has already started to track down the prize-winning white eggs, with almost 800 of the special edition chocolates having been hidden under normal packaging in shops all around the country.
But if you aren’t into the Charlie and the Chocolate factory-style hunt, Cadbury are also hiding the little lovelies in the last place fans would eggspect so only the most seasoned of hunters will be able to track them down.
The Birmingham-based chocolatier are hacking other brands to bring fans an Easter Egg Hunt like no other, in the real word and online by hiding the creme eggs in adverts for other brands.
The hunt for the white creme eggs will officially begin on the 14th January and end at Easter, with 783 gooey goodies camouflaged as a classic Cadbury Creme Egg.
And rather than last year’s 2k price tag, this year Cadbury have amped things up even further, with eight £10,000 rewards up for grabs if you find one in a shop.
There’s one £10,000 cash prize available from each retailer, with Tesco, Co-op, Sainsbury’s, Asda, Morrisons, Marks & Spencer and One Stop each selling one white creme egg worth £10,000. On top of that, there’s one £10k prize available from independent retailers.
As well as the £10,000 cash prize, there’s also 110 other winning eggs at each store, with prizes including£1,000, £100 and £50.
