India's Hindu devotees head home after sacred bathing day
Indian Hindu devotees returning home the day after Mauni Amavasya, the most auspicious day for bathing, during the Kumbh Mela festival in Allahabad. Some 55 million Hindu devotees plunged into holy waters to cleanse their sins and seek salvation over the busiest days of the world’s largest religious gathering, officials said on Tuesday.
