Chill likely to remain in Japan-South Korea ties despite new prime minister in Tokyo
SEOUL – The inauguration of every new Japanese leader brings renewed hope in South Korea that the two neighbours can finally improve frayed bilateral ties.
But experts say that, like on previous occasions, the chill will likely remain this time round, more so since bilateral ties will not be a priority in both capitals.
