Opinion | Over 1,400 Civilian Deaths in Raqqa Remain Unacknowledged

The United States, British and French militaries were successful in pushing ISIS out of Raqqa, Syria. But at what cost? Western forces have failed to acknowledge the extent of civilian deaths they caused and have yet to make a long-term commitment to help the survivors rebuild. They must further investigate what happened: If so may civilians died, clearly something went terribly wrong.
