US President Donald Trump has mocked Joe Biden’s video in which the former vice-president pledges to alter behaviour that made some women uncomfortable.

The president yesterday tweeted a parody video made by a Trump supporter and which had been posted overnight by Dan Scavino, White House director of social media.

In a doctored version of Mr Biden’s video saying he understood his behaviour upset some women, images of Mr Biden pop up alongside the former vice-president, touching and nuzzling him. Mr Trump added the caption: “WELCOME BACK JOE!”

Several women have come forward to complain about Mr Biden’s behaviour. More than a dozen accused Mr Trump of sexually harassing them. He denied the charges.
