Trump brands Joe Biden an ‘enemy of the state’ in first rally since raid
Donald Trump has branded White House successor Joe Biden an enemy of the state in his first rally since the FBI raided his Florida home.
The ex-US president accused Mr Biden and his ’radical left’ Democrat party of being ‘against God, guns, oil, law enforcement, voter ID, tax cuts and the constitution’ in a rant to his supporters on Saturday.
‘They’re against our founding fathers,’ he added, prompting raucous applause from the crowd.
The 76-year-old also accused Mr Biden of weaponising the FBI against him after agents searched his home for sensitive documents last month.
He alleged the raid at his Mar-a-Lago property was ‘one of the most shocking abuses of power by any administration in American history’.
The billionaire was speaking at the event in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, to promote Republican candidates Dr Mehmet Oz, who is running for US Senate and Doug Mastriano, who is in the race to be state governor.
A speech given by Mr Biden in Pennsylvania last week was the most vicious, hateful and divisive ever delivered by a US president, he claimed.

At the weekend, he also told supporters ‘I may have to do it again’, hinting he could again run for office in 2024.
FBI agents who searched his Florida home found empty folders marked with classified banners, according to a more detailed inventory of the seized material made public by the Justice Department.
The inventory reveals some of the contents of 33 boxes taken from an office and a storage room at Mar-a-Lago during the search on August 8.
Though it does not describe any of the documents in detail, it shows the extent to which classified information was kept at the house, commingled among newspapers, magazines, clothing and other personal items.
The Justice Department claims there was no secure space at Mar-a-Lago for such sensitive government secrets and has opened a criminal investigation focused on their retention there.
Officials also allege there were efforts in the last several months to obstruct the probe.
