Surveillance video catches bobcat taking a stroll in Kelowna
Surveillance video from a Kelowna home caught a bobcat taking a stroll along the sidewalk early Monday morning.
“We live on the edge of Woodhaven Regional Park in the Lower Mission and capture animals regularly on the camera: normally just deer, raccoons and the neighborhood cats,” Kelowna resident Jeff Ingram said.
“This is the first time we have seen a larger cat in the area. He seems very confident.”
Ingram said the video was taken around 3:45 a.m. as the bobcat wandered back in the direction of the park. Tracks continued across to the neighbour’s house towards the hillside, he added.
Ingram said he’s calling the big cat “Bob.”
