Prince Andrew’s paedophile pal Epstein in long term relationship when he died

Prince Andrew's paedophile pal Jeffrey Epstein was in a long-term relationship when he died talking to his girlfriend just hours before hanging himself.

Belarus-born Karyna Shuliak was the last person the convicted sex offender spoke to at the Metropolitan Correctional Centre where he was being held on underage sex trafficking charges.

The dentist spoke to Epstein the night before August 10 last year with sources saying she saw no signs of him wanting to take his own life.

"When she hung up the phone she was not under the impression Epstein was suicidal," the source said.

Epstein, 66, is said to have been in a relationship with Shuliak for up to five years with her name appearing on his property records in New York and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

It is understood she is not viewed as a victim of the Wall Street financier.

Shuliak, who is in her 30s, was with Epstein in Paris before he returned to the U.S. where he was arrested on the Tarmac at Teterboro Airport last July.

She learned of his suicide while in Belarus and has been "devastated" since.

Records show Shuliak married an associate of Epstein called Jennifer Kalin in 2013.

Their divorce was finalised in July 2019, weeks after the former billionaire was arrested.

A lawsuit filed by one victim against his £450 million estate alleges Epstein forced one woman into a "sham marriage" to keep a victim who wasn't a US citizen in the country.

"Jeffrey Epstein's international sex trafficking ring harmed an incomprehensible number of girls, and these sham same-sex marriages served a basic and important purpose for Epstein's trafficking operation because they enabled Epstein to get citizenship for girls that he wanted to keep in this country without facing a high level of scrutiny in the citizenship process," said Sigrid McCawley, an attorney representing Epstein victims, who spoke generally about the alleged sham marriages.

A previous report claimed Epstein arranged at least three marriages for women in his close circle to keep recruiters and friends in America.

Shuliak, who has declined to cooperate with federal prosecutors as the investigation into who helped Epstein offend continues, is a registered dentist in the state of Florida and California.

She also is listed as a dentist with her own practice in the Virgin Islands and the address listed is connected to Epstein.

Both Shuliak and Kalin were previously pictured coming put of Epstein's £59 million Manhattan townhouse.
