Police stop stranded driver and find missing rapper's foul-smelling corpse

Police stopped to help a stranded driver, only to find the foul-smelling corpse of a missing rapper in the vehicle, it is claimed.

Robert Deupree Avery Coltrain, 25, was arrested and charged with second-degree murder in the death of Brian Trotter, 25, whose body was found in Miami, Florida.

Highway Patrol towed Coltrain’s car to a nearby parking lot after they responded to a crash on the freeway.

Authorities became suspicious because they noticed buzzing flies around the car and the smell of rotting flesh.

Coltrain asked to remove his belongings from the car, which included a gun case, police said.

Troopers then opened the trunk of the car to find Trotter’s body ‘wrapped in a piece of fabric and in an advanced stage of decomposition,’ a police report said.

An autopsy later revealed that Trotter had been shot multiple times, although it is still unclear who shot him – or why.

Trotter, an aspiring rapper who went by the name of Kent Won’t Stop, was last seen at his home in Virginia on October 17, police said.

Trotter and Coltrain had been friends for more than a decade, police said.

It is not clear yet if Coltrain has a lawyer, but the investigation is ongoing.
