One person has reportedly died and five others are injured in a stabbing outside a Las Vegas Strip casino.

The attack occurred around 11.45am on Thursday in the 3100 block of S Las Vegas Boulevard near the Wynn hotel, according to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.

Six victims were found and one of them died, cops said. The other victims were hospitalized and their conditions were not immediately known.

A suspect is in custody.

Some of the victims were showgirls who were taking photos with tourists, bystanders told FOX 5.

Roads in the area were closed and people were advised to avoid the area as an investigation ensued.
