An escaped murder suspect is in custody and his corrections officer lover is in the hospital after an 11-day manhunt.

The murder inmate, Casey White, and jail guard Vicky White were found at a hotel in Indiana and taken into custody after a brief chase.

Vicky shot herself before being captured, according to the Daily Mail.

Her injuries and their severity were not immediately clear.

They were captured after a tip from a citizen took authorities to Evansville, which is more than 200 miles from the Alabama county jail where Vicky helped Casey escape.
