Boy, 4, vanishes 'after mother left him alone at busy city bus station'
Fears are growing for a four year-old boy missing since his mother allegedly left him alone at a city bus station on December 15. Marceliano Pinkey was last seen at the travel hub in Downtown Houston last Tuesday, with police investigators saying they believe the youngster subsequently boarded a bus with an unidentified man later the same day.
Police were alerted to Marceliano’s case after his relatives in Florida called them to claim the boy’s mother had left him alone at the bus station, before traveling to the Sunshine State. The mother, who has not been named, was subsequently questioned by detectives after arriving in Florida.
They tipped off cops in Houston about Marceliano. No charges have been brought, and no description has been given of the man Marceliano boarded the bus with.
It is also unclear why Marceliano’s mom left him at the bus station, and whether she knew the man Marceliano may have boarded the bus with.
The little boy is described as being four feet tall, and weighing 60 pounds.
A Houston Police Department spokesman appealed for anyone with information to get in touch, and tweeted: ‘Our investigators are contacting other agencies in hopes of locating Marceliano unharmed.’
