Armed protests are being planned in all 50 US states leading up to President-elect Joe Biden’s inauguration, according to the FBI.

Federal investigators have warned of an ‘uprising’ if Trump is removed via the 25th Amendment before Inauguration Day. They have also said they believe Pro-Trump supporters will try to ‘storm’ state and federal government buildings in the event of the President being removed from office.

The leaked internal bulletin from the FBI also claims that its been made aware of ‘various threats to harm President-elect Biden ahead of the presidential inauguration’, reports CNN.

It comes as security measures are being stepped up ahead of Joe Biden’s inauguration day on January 20, with federal, state and local law enforcement agencies preparing for more violence following last week’s deadly Capitol riots.

The FBI now has fears of widespread rioting in every US state including in Washington DC between now and when Biden takes over the White House from Donald Trump.

The FBI bulletin, said: ‘Armed protests are being planned at all 50 state capitols from 16 January through at least January 20, and at the US Capitol from January 17.

‘On 8 January, the FBI received information on an identified group calling for others to join them in ‘storming’ state, local and federal government courthouses and administrative buildings in the event POTUS is removed as President prior to Inauguration Day.

‘This identified group is also planning to ‘storm’ government offices including in the District of Columbia and in every state, regardless of whether the states certified electoral votes for Biden or Trump, on January 20.’

The possibility of yet more protests come as the President faces being removed from office early by either the invocation of the 25th amendment or by impeachment.

He faces being dumped out of the White House for ‘inciting violence’ at the Capitol building last Wednesday. Thousands of Pro-Trump supporters marched on the Capitol in a violent rally that ultimately led to five people losing their lives.

The National Guard has said it plans to have up to 15,000 troops available for deployment to Washington for the inauguration.
