911 caller claims Brian Laundrie slapped fiancé Gabby Petito in Utah

Newly 911 audio reveals a caller in Utah claiming that Brian Laundrie hit his fiancé, missing YouTuber Gabby Petito.

The male caller tells a Grant County sheriff that a ‘gentleman’ driving a white van with a Florida license plate slapped a girl inside before the vehicle departed, according to the audio obtained by Fox News.

‘I’m right in the corner of Main Street by Moonflower and we are driving and I’d like to report a domestic dispute,’ the caller says. ‘Florida with a white van – Florida license plate, white van.’

The caller continues that the couple drove off and made a right on Main Street from Moonflower, a seeming reference to the Moonflower Community Cooperative in Moab, where Petito and Laundrie stayed on the night of August 11 and were reportedly seen in a heated fight.

‘We drove by him, a gentleman was slapping the girl,’ the caller says, prompting the sheriff to ask, ‘He was slapping her?’

The audio ends with the caller responding: ‘Yes. And then we stopped. They ran down an up the sidewalk. He proceeded to hit her, hopped in the car and they drove off.’

Not long after the call, Petito and Laundrie were stopped by Moab police officers and recorded in body camera footage. Petito was in tears telling cops that she and Laundrie had ‘been fighting all morning’ and that she ‘was trying to get him to stop telling (her) to calm down’.
