Trump fans barge into counting hall and shout ‘stop the vote’ amid US elections

Donald Trump supporters shouted "stop the vote" after barging into a counting hall, according to footage shared online.

While the US election entered its second day and votes continue to be tallied, alleged Trump fans stormed into the site causing chaos.

This comes after the current president claimed victory before all votes were counted, and made bizarre claims about getting tallies halted.

Pictures and videos from the counting site showed challengers screaming to stop the vote count in Detroit on Wednesday, reports The Sun.

An NBC news reporter, Steve Patterson, posted a video on Twitter which showed people banging on glass windows and chanting while workers count.

He said: "From the inside, the heavy thudding of rhythmic banging against the glass after the boxes were taken down.

"Chanting is echoing in the hall.

"Inside: Workers are quietly, diligently counting"

Shocking scenes from outside the TCF Centre where ballots were being counted also showed a protest with people screaming in front of the site.

However, these challengers were met by another group of protesters chanting "count every vote."

Last night, Trump started the press conference, which started at around 2.20am local time, by listing a series of states his team claims to have won – despite votes still being counted.

Trump claimed the Democrats had deliberately sent out mail-in absentee voter ballots in a bid to delay the announcement of any result.

The 45th President of the United States said: "They knew they couldn't win so they said, let's go to court.

"Did I predict this? Did I say this? I've been saying it since they said they were sending out tens of millions of ballots."

He added: "This is a major fraud. This is an embarrassment to our country.

"We were getting ready to win this election and frankly, we did win this election."

He went on to tell his assembled supporters inside the White House that he was going to the Supreme Court in a bid to get vote counting stopped.
