Mexico thanks Trump for holding off on terrorist designation for drug cartels

MEXICO CITY (Reuters) – Mexico’s foreign minister, Marcelo Ebrard, on Friday thanked U.S. President Donald Trump for holding off on classifying Mexican drug cartels as terrorist groups, a proposal that Mexico’s government had opposed.

“I’m thankful for President Donald Trump’s decision to delay the designation of organizations as terrorists at the request of President Lopez Obrador,” Ebrard said in a tweet. “Cooperation has won and there will be good results.”

Watch: Americans Are 'Flushing Toilets 10 Times, 15 Times' Says Trump

President Donald Trump explained to the assembled media at the White House on Friday that there is an ongoing issue with “sinks and showers and other elements of bathrooms” across the country and that his administration is “looking very strongly” into the matter.

According to the Washington Post, Trump wants a nationwide review of water efficiency standards because “people are flushing toilets 10 times, 15 times as opposed to once,” the president said.

“We have a situation where we’re looking very strongly at sinks and showers and other elements of bathrooms, where you turn the faucet on in areas where there’s tremendous amounts of water, where it rushes out to sea because you could never handle it. And you don’t get any water. You turn on the faucet and you don’t get any water,” Trump said.

“They take a shower and water comes dripping out, just dripping out. Very quietly dripping out… So EPA is looking at that,” the president added.

Obseva SA (OBSV), a specialty biopharmaceutical company operating in the field of women’s health and reproductive medicine, awaits a key catalyst on Monday.

The Company is slated to release six-month primary endpoint data from its phase III clinical trial of Linzagolix for the treatment of heavy menstrual bleeding due to uterine fibroids, dubbed PRIMROSE 2, on Monday, December 9, 2019. The PRIMROSE 2 trial is one of the two phase III studies evaluating Linzagolix in women with heavy menstrual bleeding (HMB) associated with uterine fibroids, and the other being PRIMROSE 1.

The PRIMROSE 1 and PRIMROSE 2 trials are testing the efficacy and safety of two doses of Linzagolix, including 100mg without low dose hormonal add-back therapy (ABT) and 200mg with ABT.

ObsEva in-licensed Linzagolix from Kissei Pharmaceutical Co. in 2015.

Ryan Reynolds Comes Up With The “Peloton Girl’ Aftermath For His Gin Brand

The Deadpool star’s commercial seemingly picks up where Peloton’s ad left off.

We begin with the camera focused squarely on Peloton Girl’s dazed face. She is seated between two friends and appears to be in shock, no doubt after finally realizing the implications of her husband’s gift. She takes a drink and says,  “This gin is really smooth.”

#WeWantStargate Trends In Worldwide Campaign To Bring Forth New ‘Stargate’ Series

A former Stargate writer-producer has mounted an online campaign to bring out a new version of the classic science fiction series, which has been off the air since 2011, when the plug was pulled on Stargate: Universe after two seasons.

Joseph Mallozzi, who worked on Stargate: SG-1, Stargate: Atlantis and Stargate:Universe before becoming the showrunner/writer/EP of his own Dark Matter, has encouraged fans to take up the call for a new series via the hashtag #WeWantStargate. So far, the response is blowing up, hoping to show series owner MGM that there is a huge fanbase willing to support new episodes.

Stargate started life as a 1994 film by Dean Devlin and Roland Emmerich, then morphed into a television series in 1997 by Brad Wright and Jonathan Glassner. The series evolved into the 2004 Stargate: Atlantis and 2009’s Stargate: Universe.

But fans felt the final TV series was prematurely ended with its story half-told. MGM has since dithered about bringing back the franchise to TV, although it did allow a prequel web series in 2018, Stargate: Origins, and several graphic novels that picked up new stories from the universe and attempted closure. That left fans with 17 seasons of programming, but still hungry for more.
