Swingers club famous for ‘gangbang night’ goes on sale for £660,000

A swingers club in Australia has attracted some curious buyers after being put on the market for over one million Australian dollars.

The property in Sydney is reported to have hosted group sex, swingers’ nights and orgies, according to local news outlet.

But now the property is on the market for $1.2 million Australian dollars (£660,000) – with the potential to make a future buyer $44,000 Australian dollars (£24,000) in rent per year if let out.

According to RealEstate.com.au, the property was an “approved swingers’ venue” and was “licensed to provide sexual services” on site.

The building as home to the Raptures Swingers club for 25 years before it was shut up and put on the market for sale.

The real estate publication says the club "offered ‘house party-style’ swingers’ nights for members, including a ‘gangbang’ night on Wednesdays and Saturdays.”

The building itself has 44sqm of space – and is sold along with 544sqm of land, with a pool room and parking bays among the highlights of the building.

Estate agent Terry Hansen told The Daily Telegraph of the property: “It is getting a fair amount of inquiry … but not everyone wants to work in that industry.”

It is reported both regular property buyers have expressed interest in snapping up the building – while some “brother operators” have also been making enquiries.

The sale of the Raptures Swingers site comes as a number of other x-rated venues in the area have also gone on the market.

A brothel on Kellett St in Sydney’s Kings Cross area was recently sold and converted in to offices.

While a strip club called Bada Bing on Darlinghurst Rd is on the market – although the strip club services re still being offered while a buyer is sought.

The nearby Pink Pussy Cat strip club was sold for a reported $6.15 million Australian dollars (£3.37 million) and is reported to be used as a mixed development site post-sale.

Local estate agent Nuri Shik warned: “The strip clubs can’t survive.

“The area is a lot more up-market now. It’s becoming more like Paris, there are couples walking dogs everywhere and there is a big restaurant scene.”
