Monster 16ft shark filmed circling boat as it tries to steal fishermen’s catch
This is the terrifying moment a monstrous shark circles around the fishermen's small boat before sinking teeth onto their catch.
An amateur fisherman, from Spain, and his friend has had a close encounter with the five-metre-long (16ft) apex predator just off the coast of Mallorca in June last year.
In the recently resurfaced video, he places their catch of the day — a 5.2ft long tuna — over the side the small boat and leaves it dipping in the water.
While they are chatting, a dark shadow is seen lurking around the boat until it emerges from the water and takes a chunk off the tuna.
The grey shark wrangles the fish's head a few times and disappears in the water.
The duo wait patiently and gently shakes the tuna to see if the shark would return.
"It's coming from below, what a beast," one man said while another one shouts: "He's eating half of it!"
The hungry shark drags the fish to the back of the boat and thrashes in the water as it takes on another few bites.

The video was being widely shared by newspaper Ultima Hora and being spread across WhatsApp as people hit the beaches.
It is thought that the shark sighting was at the island of Cabrera.
Meanwhile in Cape Cod Bay, Massachusetts, a family of five was terrified when they saw a shark swimming along their boat during their lobster-hunting trip.
The jaw-dropping footage, which shows the shark just below the water’s surface, was shared on the Facebook page Billingate Charters, where the family were heard yelling: "Holy smokes, that thing is huge, dude!
"That’s like 15 feet! That thing is enormous."
David Stamatis, owner of the boating company, said: "They were thrilled, it made their trip. Not only did they catch a bunch of fish and lobster for dinner — this was an unbelievable bonus."
