MMA fighter Tara LaRosa restrains anti-Trump protester at Veterans Day event
An MMA fighter used her fighting skills to pin down an activist who reportedly attacked a group of people during a pro-Trump Veterans Day flag-waving gathering.
The group had gathered in honour of Veterans Day on Sunday in North Portland, Oregon when the unnamed female protester approached them.
After she allegedly started an argument, it quickly escalated into a full-out brawl.
MMA champion LaRosa – who was part of the flag-waving group – quickly used her jujitsu skills to restrain the furious protester.
As the confrontation threatened to get out of hand, LaRosa pinned the woman to the ground.
In a video that went viral on social media, LaRosa is seen on top of the woman telling her to stop fighting and relax.
The woman can be heard telling LaRosa to get off her, insisting that she can't breathe.
"You're antagonising the city I live in," she can be heard saying, adding that she is a "professor".
But LaRosa replied: "No, we're not, we're doing a flag wave. We're not trying to fight."

Pictures were shared later showing injuries LaRosa reportedly suffered when the woman bit through her hoodie, shirt and bra.
She was left with bite marks to her breast, as well as scrapes to her neck and knees.
The woman continued to yell at LaRosa and her group, which was wearing the insignia representing the Proud Boys movement.
This controversial group has been associated with the alt-right movement and has been involved in violent clashes with other protesters in the past.
