Liam Neeson removed from Queen's University Belfast prospectus after race row

LIAM Neeson has been removed from his old university prospectus after his admission that he wanted to kill an innocent black man in revenge for a pal’s rape.

The Northern Irish actor, 66, appeared in the “heritage and heroes” section of the Queen’s University Belfast student prospectus in 2018 and 2019.

But he has reportedly been airbrushed from the 2020 edition.

It comes after Neeson, who studied physics and computer science there, admitted he once looked for a “black b******” to kill after a friend was raped.

He said last month: “She said it was a black person. I went up and down areas with a cosh, hoping I’d be approached by somebody — I’m ashamed to say that — and I did it for maybe a week, hoping some black b****** would come out of a pub and have a go at me about something, you know? So that I could kill him.”

He denied being racist following a backlash.

The star, from Ballymena, enrolled at Queen’s in 1971 but quit to work at a Guinness brewery.

Queen’s awarded him an honorary doctorate in 2009.

It did not respond to a request for comment.
