President Biden participated in his first signing ceremony as commander-in-chief on Wednesday, shortly following his historic inauguration.

From the President’s Room at the US Capitol, Biden put his name to an inauguration proclamation, plus two lists of nominees to Cabinet and sub-Cabinet positions, respectively.

Later Wednesday, Biden is expected to additionally sign 17 executive actions.

Those decrees will roll back some of the signature positions of the former Trump administration, immediately ending the travel ban on nations with terrorism concerns and ceasing construction of the wall on America’s southern border.

Biden got to work following an inauguration ceremony and swearing-in that was somewhat muted by the coronavirus and security concerns over partisan domestic strife.
