She told ABC8 Israel was an amazing man with a loving heart full of compassion and also said he was a healthy and strong.

Krystal, who didn’t want to go on camera, said shop worker Israel started feel unwell on March 21 and they went to Urgent Care on March 23 then a clinic two days later.

On March 29 she took him to St Francis Hospital where he was put on a ventilator in the morning and by mid-day the hospital called to tell her he had tested positive for the virus.

She says he passed away on April 5.

Krystal said in her last Facetime with Israel, he told her not to worry that he was in God's hands and that everything was going to be all right.

She said his family don't know where or how the QT night assistant got the virus and neither her nor her son has the virus.

A GoFundMe page has now been set up to raise money for Israel’s young family .

“Israel Sauz passed on April 5th due to the Covid-19, at the young age of 22. He was in ICU in an induced coma for a week.

“My cousin, his wife, received word that he was doing much better 2 days before his passing. How could this happen to someone so young and healthy?

“The Coronavirus does not care about age, color, religion or health. Israel was a sweet, loving, hard working husband, father and son.

“He leaves behind our dear cousin, Krystal Sauz Lopez, and Josiah, their one month old baby. Please pray for his family and thank you in advance. Anything helps. God bless you and your family.”
