Theresa May just said the word ‘ejaculation’ in the House of Commons

Theresa May left her colleagues in howls of laughter after uttering the word ‘ejaculation’ during a risque exchange in Parliament earlier today.

The Prime Minister was being grilled by MPs over her last-minute decision to postpone a crucial Brexit vote.

Labour MP Rupa Huq challenged the Prime Minster over the u-turn and likened it to a ‘premature Parliamentary ejaculation’.

Dr Huq said: “Nine times the Prime Minister assured us there would be no early General Election, yet still it happened.

“As recently as this morning her hapless band of ever-changing ministers were out on the airwaves assuring us there would be a meaningful vote tomorrow, before this latest twist – this sort of premature Parliamentary ejaculation – that has put the lie to the claim she sticks to her guns.

“When she won’t even tell us when the vote is deferred to, it would appear the lady is for turning."

She added: “How can we ever trust anything she ever says again?”

Members were left in hysterics by the bawdy comparison, with one MP saying: “wow, wow that’s strong”.

The Tory leader appeared to appreciate the joke, which came after three hours into a tense standoff between the parties.

Theresa May replied: “If she looks carefully, she will see I I am not capable of a Parliamentary ejaculation.”

The Prime Minister will now embark on a frantic new round of talks with EU leaders including Dutch PM Mark Rutte tomorrow.

She will visit other European capitals before all 27 leaders meet at a summit on Thursday.

Mrs May said she will seek "new ways" to give MPs a say over the controversial "backstop", which extends EU customs rules over the UK if there’s no deal for the Irish border.

But EU Council President Donald Tusk issued a hardline statement tonight saying: "We will not renegotiate the deal, including the backstop."
