Suspect in South Carolina shooting dead after firing at deputies
A conflict between South Carolina neighbors Tuesday turned into a shootout that left a police car riddled with bullets, officials and local reports said.
The Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office said one of the suspects was dead following the “shooting incident” in the town of Huger.
According to WCIV, a fight between neighbors led a man to start firing shots inside a house on United Drive.
The windshield of a deputy’s vehicle was riddled with about a dozen bullet holes during the incident.
