Second Chuckle brother Jimmy Patton dies aged 87 a year after Barry

Chuckle brother Jimmy Patton has died aged 87 a year after his brother Barry.

The comedian’s death was confirmed on a Facebook post on the official Chuckle Brothers page, which reads: ‘I just thought I’d let you know that the Chuckle Brothers older Brother Jimmy Patton has sadly passed away.

‘Jimmy was a big part of chucklevision and the stage shows where he played the character No Slacking. RIP Jim Lad. And No Slacking.’

Jimmy’s death comes a year after Barry Chuckle’s death from bone cancer.

Tour de France: Hailstorm halts stage 19 in Alps

Stage 19 of the Tour de France has been called off due to hail and snow in the Alps.

The decision was made after a storm made the road too dangerous and it has been announced that times will be taken at the top of the Col d’Iseran.

Charo describes the day of her husband’s suicide: ‘We had dinner, but he did not talk’

Charo is still reeling in the aftermath of finding her husband dead of a self-inflicted gunshot wound in February.

The Spanish singer and actress appeared on “The Talk” this week for her first televised interview since losing Kjell Rasten, her husband of more than 40 years, five months ago. She detailed her final day with Rasten, 78, noting that his behavior was slightly abnormal in the hours before his death.

“We had dinner, but he did not talk. During the dinner he talked very little,” she recalled. “Then when he went to go to sleep, he looked at me very strange, like he wanted to talk to me.”

Bronx man arrested at JFK Airport for plotting to join Taliban

A Bronx man was arrested at JFK Airport on Friday morning for allegedly plotting to join the Taliban, according to reports.

The man, whose name and age were not immediately available, was under investigation by the FBI prior to being picked up at John F. Kennedy International Airport, where he was trying to fly to overseas to join the terrorist faction, NBC 4 New York reported, citing law enforcement sources.

The man, whose case is being investigated by the Joint Terrorism Task Force, is due to appear in federal court in lower Manhattan, where he faces terror-related charges, officials said.

Off-duty NYPD detective busted for stalking, harassing woman

An off-duty NYPD detective was busted in Queens on Friday morning for allegedly stalking a woman, police said.

Brian Erbis, 46, was collared shortly before 8:45 a.m. on charges he repeatedly contacted the victim, who is an acquaintance, after he was previously told to stop pestering her, cops said.

Erbis was charged with stalking and harassment, according to authorities.

He is due to appear in Queens court Friday afternoon.

Erbis made more than $140,000 in 2018, according to records compiled by the non-profit Empire Center.

He was suspended without pay, police said.
