Natalie Portman seeks restraining order against man ‘claiming’ to be John Wick

Natalie Portman has filed for a restraining order against a man who allegedly tried to claim he was the character John Wick.

The “Vox Lux” actress, 37, is seeking a temporary restraining order against the man, who is accused of trying to gain access to her gated community on Jan. 31, 2019, according to The Blast.

When the unnamed man was confronted by police, he allegedly told them his name was John Wick — the title character of a 2014 Keanu Reeves film about a hitman who comes out of retirement after someone kills his puppy — even though his Colorado driver’s license gave another identity.

According to the responding officers, the man would not respond to his real name, but would only engage when addressed as “John,” although his responses were “limited and delayed.”

He allegedly also told police “that he had spoken to the reporting person several times, telepathically, and that he had traveled from Colorado to Los Angeles to meet the individual.”

In addition to Portman’s request for a restraining order, the man was placed on a mental hold and had a firearms restraining order placed against him by police.
