It's 25 years since the US comedy Friends first hit our TV screens so there is a lot of memorabilia currently on sale.

So when Friends fan Dan Molloy saw a unisex t-shirt, celebrating the programme's anniversary, for sale in Primark he happily bought one.

However it was only after he wore it that he noticed a typo which clearly had not been picked up by anyone working for the discount chain.

Police shoot protester with live round in Hong Kong: reports

A protester has been shot by police during violent protests in Hong Kong, the South China Morning Post has reported.

The Hong Kong-based reported confirmation from a police source that live "warning shots" had been fired at Tsuen Wan and Yau Ma Tei.

Up to 100,000 people took the streets in Hong Kong on China's National Day on Tuesday as part of protests coinciding with China's National Day.

Man douses himself in liquid near UK Houses of Parliament

Police in London have detained a man near the Houses of Parliament after he doused himself in what appeared to be flammable liquid.

The Metropolitan Police say in a tweet Tuesday that the man was detained in Parliament Square at 10:45 a.m. (0945 GMT). No injuries were reported and London Ambulance Service personnel were at the scene.

The man is currently being assessed by paramedics.

Man killed in early-morning Queens hit-and-run: cops

A Queens man was killed Tuesday by a hit-and-run driver, police said.

Cops found the 65-year-old victim unconscious and unresponsive in the street at the intersection of Rockaway Boulevard and Brookville Boulevard in Rosedale, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

The vehicle that struck the man fled, police said.

Police were seen entering the ‘International Lounge’ of the Manchester conference centre and moving photographers and reporters away from the area.

Greater Manchester Police had no immediate comment on the incident. 

Attacker busted on scene of stabbing in Bronx subway station

A man was stabbed inside a Bronx subway station during the Tuesday morning rush, police said.

The attack happened just after 9 a.m. on the mezzanine level of the East 180th 2/5 station, police said.

It is unclear if the victim knew his attacker, who was busted at the scene, authorities said.

A photo posted to Instagram shows horrified bystanders standing over the unidentified victim — his shirt and jeans soaked with blood — as a police officer helps tend to his wounds.

The victim was transported to St. Barnabas Hospital in stable condition, according to cops.

Man slashes woman’s throat in random attack near the Cloisters

A 40-year-old woman was randomly slashed in the neck by a stranger in a Manhattan park Monday, police said.

The victim, who’s from the Bronx, was walking on a trail at the Cloisters in Fort Tryon Park in Washington Heights around 5:40 p.m. when she was knifed twice, cops said.

The man walked up behind her, put his hand over her mouth and slashed her throat, according to cops. Her jaw was also sliced.

She was taken to Saint Luke’s Hospital in stable condition.

The attacker is described as a heavyset man standing 5 feet 8 and wearing a red hat and dark pants, cops said.

No arrests have been made.

ABC has canceled the Eva Longoria-produced drama “Grand Hotel,” TheWrap has learned.

The upstairs-downstairs drama wrapped its one-season run back in September.
