A woman and three children have been taken to hospital following a stabbing in north London.

Police were called to the address on Livingstone Road in Enfield at 12.13pm today.

They found the woman and children, all under the age of 12, suffering from stab injuries in the property.

Officers are still awaiting an update on their conditions.

A man has since been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.

A police spokeswoman said: ‘Officers are not looking for anyone else in relation to this incident. The attacker was known to the victims.

‘There is no further risk to the public at this time.’
