A desperate search has been launched for a teenage girl who has been missing for two weeks.

Lucy Morris, 17, from Harrogate, was travelling to Leeds to stay with a friend on May 15 – but has not been seen since.

Lucy has not contacted anyone via text message or social media since May 22.

Now fears are growing for the safety of the teen, described as white, 5ft 3in tall and of a slim build, with blue eyes and blonde hair.

Lucy also has a tattoo on her left hand which says ‘blessed’.

It is not known what clothing she was wearing at the time of her disappearance.

North Yorkshire Police is leading the search, assisted by West Yorkshire Police in the Leeds area.

Officers have urged the teenager to get in touch immediately to let her family know she is safe.
