Ukraine: Protesters paint road outside Russian embassy

Protestors have spilt paint in the colours of the Ukrainian flag outside the Russian Embassy a day before the anniversary of the beginning of the war in Ukraine.

The protest, captured on film by passers-by, took place on the Bayswater Road that passes by the Russian Embassy in London.

Posting on Twitter, Ike Anya said: “Extraordinary! Some people have spilled a river of paint in the colours of the Ukrainian flag on Bayswater Road right in front of the Russian Embassy. [sic]

“Police appeared to be arresting two people a young bespectacled man and an older woman.”
