Letitia wore a stylish navy dress with snake print heels for the event at the Matadero Madrid contemporary arts centre. The monarchs expressed their condolences for the recently deceased musician Pau Donés and actress Rosa María Sardá, during their visit to the facility.

The royal couple were seen wearing face masks and practising social distancing, just days after they were seen at another engagement at a Madrid sport centre not wearing face coverings.

Queen Letizia’s classy yet effortless outfit was accessorised with a belt around her waist.

She complemented the look wearing natural makeup and with a side-parting hairstyle.

King Felipe’s outfit consisted of a grey blazer over a white shirt paired with blue trousers and brown shoes.

The monarchs engaged in conversations with Spanish culture representatives such as the director of the National Dance Company Joaquín de Luz.

Other well-known Spanish experts who attended the event included actor Juan Echanove and choreographer María Pagés.

The complex is a converted slaughterhouse and cattle market and it was renovated in 2006.

President of the Community of Madrid Isabel Díaz Ayuso and mayor of Madrid José Luis Martínez-Almeida also spoke to Queen Letizia and King Felipe on their visit to the facility.

The visit started with a tour around a room dedicated to audiovisual creation.

The royal couple then moved onto an artistic practices and cultural mediation section.

A delegate of the Culture, Tourism and Sport Area of the Madrid City Council discussed renovations of the ship Nave 15 with the monarchs.

At the end of the tour, Queen Letizia and King Felipe were shown a theatre used for exhibitions and performing arts.

It comes days after the pair were seen not wearing face masks for the first time in three months during a visit to a sports centre in Madrid, the Spanish capital.

They attended the Centre of High Performance (CAR) in the facilities of the Superior Sports Council (CSD) in Madrid on June 8.

While they did not wear any face coverings, they did adhere to social distancing measures by standing at a safe distance from others.

On June 5, the royal couple took their masks off for a short period of time while paying tribute to victims of Covid-19.

The event saw Queen Letitia and King Felipe observe a minute of silence for Spain’s coronavirus victims, on the last day of a ten day long mourning period.

The Spanish monarchs were visiting the Coslada Transport Centre in Madrid when the tribute took place.

Spain has been one of the hardest hit countries in Europe during the pandemic.

The southern Europe country has reported over 240,000 cases and its death toll has already exceeded 27,000.

The Spanish Queen was seen wearing an elegant all white ensemble and King Felipe wore a stylish suit.
