Royal SNUB: How younger royal told to STEP UP as Queen’s age becomes evident
Queen Elizabeth II is Britain’s longest-reigning monarch, but at the age of 93, it’s time to start making room for younger royals, experts have said. The revelation comes after speculation mounted the monarch would step down at the age of 95.
The claims have since been dismissed by Clarence House, the press office for Prince Charles.
The office told People magazine on Thursday “there are no plans for any change in arrangements at the age of 95—or any other age.”
The monarch has on numerous occasion said she intend to reign for the rest of her life.
That does not mean, however, younger royals shouldn’t get more involved, experts have said.

The issue was discussed by royal expert Victoria Arbiter, who appeared on the Heir Pod royal podcast with co-host Omid Scobie.
The pair discussed the roles of the young royals in the year ahead after what has been a turbulent year for the Queen.
Mr Scobie said: “I spoke to Kensington Palace aides recently just on what is on the horizon for Kate.
“They said really the first and second quarter of 2020 is going to be a real serious focus on the Early Years development project that she has been involved in.
“We are really going to see her actively involved in several engagements, she’ll be very happy with that.
“I think it is great because of course, she is a mum, she has three kids and has a very busy plate as it is.
“But I think to see her taking on even more I think is needed at this time.

“I think it is needed as the Queen steps back from her duties we are seeing the younger royals having to step forward and put in a lot more work.”
Ms Arbiter added: “She has been quite fortunate that she had her children when she did because she has been able to have that hands-on time with them at home.
“But yes the schedule needs to start building now as she offers her support to the Queen as well.
“I think 2020 is going to get a lot busier for all of them.
“Of course with Prince Andrew out of the mix now people are talking about how Princess Anne is going to have to step up and support her mother so much more.
“We have just lost one member of the royal family and already the workload increases for everyone else.
“I think 2020 is going to be a big year of adjustment and change and adapting to the Queen being older.
“She is not going anywhere, touch wood, but I think everyone needs to start raising their game a little bit.”
