Royal Family members did not let the lockdown stop them from keeping up with their duties and moved the majority of their operations online. Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall admitted to an initial struggle with technology but said she had learned to appreciate online services. And while editing BBC Radio 5 Live’s Emma Barnett Show, Camilla also suggested the family may embrace another change in its tradition following the lockdown.

Asked whether she had enjoyed being allowed a “more casual” style while shielding in Scotland, the Duchess of Cornwall said: “I have been very, very happy in my jeans.

“It will be very hard to get out of them again. You get into a sort of way of life, don’t you? It’s very difficult…

“As we know, lockdown, Zoom fashion is very interesting because everybody can look very smart on the top but I think, if somebody took a camera underneath, they’d find some very interesting things.”

The Duchess of Cornwall released a series of videos in support of her patronages throughout the lockdown and in some of them she could be seen sporting very relaxed outfits compared to the more classic style she wears on official engagements.
