During the Royal Rota, ITV’s Royal Editor Chris Ship and Lizzie Robinson discussed the relationship between the Duke of Cambridge and the Duke of Sussex. Ms Robinson stated that the brothers are further apart than they have ever been both in terms of geographic distance and in their personal relationship.

Ms Robinson said: “You would think for something this important to both Harry and William, for that unveiling next year to mark her 60th birthday, that we would see them come together to do that.

“After all we know about the sort of falling out and the tensions between them, we might see them together.

“It might be the first time.”

Mr Ship replied: “It might be, we do not know for sure, but it is possible that it will happen.”

He added: “A lot of the commentary has been around whether this is the kind of thing that will bring the brothers together.

“As far as we understand it, they have never really been much further apart as they are now.”

Ms Robinson responded: “In distance and in terms of their relationship.”

Earlier this week a royal commentator stated that Princess Diana’s statue will be located in her favourite part of Kensington Palace gardens.

During the Royally Obsessed podcast, Rachel Bowie and Roberta Fiorito discussed the fact Princess Diana’s favourite place in Kensington Gardens was the Sunken Gardens.

Ms Fiorito said regarding the location: “It was known to be one of Diana’s most favourite spots at Kensington Palace.

“I read about why it was and apparently she would jog through it and always end her runs in the Sunken Gardens, then she would chat with the gardeners and make it the end of her work out.

“I thought that was really cool.”

Ms Bowie asked: “Isn’t that where Meghan and Harry announced their engagement?”

Ms Fiorito replied: “It is! It is so pretty there.”

Ms Bowie added: “It holds a lot of special meaning or the Royal Family.

“The Diana statue was commissioned three years ago by the Princes on the 20 anniversary of their mothers death in 2017.

“It is wild that it has taken this long but I guess it has been delayed because of COVID.”
