Royal baby IMMINENT: Meghan Markle’s former Suits co-star in London ahead of birth

Pierce said it was “great” to be in London with Meghan and Prince Harry’s royal baby due. Meghan starred as Rachel Zane in American show Suits and Pierce played her lawyer father Robert Zane. According to Hello, he tweeted: “It’s great to be living & working in London while the excitement builds around the Duchess of Sussex soon giving birth to her first child. Meghan I’m very happy for you. Blessings.”

The post prompted a delighted reaction from Suits fans.

One commented: “Nice to see Rachel Zane’s dad in London waiting for Baby Sussex birth.”

Another wrote: “I would so love to see him at the christening, standing next to Doria.”

A third said: “All the best the Zane family.”

Another added: “It’s so great that she has some personal friends around at this special time. Also, you’re awesome.”

One more said: “It doesn’t get much cooler than this. I hope you get to see the Sussex family while you’re there.”

Meghan’s on-screen dad has previously spoken out to support Meghan over her family feud with father Thomas Markle.

He told The Telegraph: “If you care about Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, then that should be first and foremost in your mind before you say anything.

“If you love your daughter, just love your daughter. It’s not for public consumption.”

Meghan left Suits ahead of her royal wedding after seven seasons and more than 100 episodes.

Her former co-stars including Patrick Adams, Sarah Rafferty and Rick Hoffman attended her big day.

While another one of her former colleagues Abigail Spencer was spotted with the mother-to-be in New York for her baby shower in February.

The 37-year-old is due to give birth this month or early May, but the exact date has been kept a closely-guarded secret.

Meghan and Harry recently moved into Frogmore Cottage in Windsor.

The royal residence has been undergoing multimillion pound renovations to make it into the perfect family home ready for Baby Sussex.
