Eugenie, 30, is expecting her first child with husband Jack Brooksbank, 34, early next year. And the mother-to-be revealed her growing baby bump while out in the capital on Wednesday.

Eugenie looked stylish in a black and green floral dress, drawing attention to her blossoming bump with a belt around her waist.

She kept warm in the chillier weather with a long green coat and knee-high heeled black boots.

The royal carried a small leather handbag and a laptop in a black case as she strolled through Mayfair.

Eugenie covered her face with a patterned mask, while wearing her hair in a messy bun.

Buckingham Palace last month announced Eugenie, who is tenth in line to the throne, is pregnant.

The Queen, Prince Philip, Sarah Ferguson, Prince Andrew and Mr Brooksbank’s parents were said to be “delighted”.

The palace said in a statement: “Her Royal Highness Princess Eugenie and Mr Jack Brooksbank are very pleased to announce that they are expecting a baby in early 2021.

“The Duke of York and Sarah, Duchess of York, Mr and Mrs George Brooksbank, The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh are delighted with the news.”

Eugenie took to Instagram to reveal she and Mr Brooksbank are “excited” for 2021.

She shared a picture of an adorable pair of baby shoes and a snap of the couple grinning.

Eugenie wrote: “Jack and I are so excited for early 2021….”

The Duchess of York said she “cannot wait to be a grandmother” in a post on her social media accounts.

“Thrilled for them both and in my 60th year cannot wait to be a grandmother.

“Welcoming a new baby into the York family is going to be a moment of profound joy.”

Royal fans were also quick to congratulate Eugenie and Mr Brooksbank on social media.

The Queen’s granddaughter and Mr Brooksbank tied the knot in October 2018.

Their royal baby will be the first since Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s son Archie was born in May 2019.

The new arrival will be the Queen’s ninth great-grandchild.

The monarch is already a great-grandmother to Archie, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, Prince Louis, Mia and Lena Tindall and Savannah and Isla Phillips.

Eugenie’s parents, Andrew and Sarah, will become grandparents for the first time.
