Eugenie, 29, has already followed in the footsteps of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry by getting married to Jack Brooksbank, 33, in the same venue at St George’ Chapel in Windsor Castle. Meghan and Harry announced they were expecting their first child just five months after their wedding in May 2018. With Eugenie and Jack well into their seventh month of being married after they tied-the-knot in October 2018, a new arrival into the royal household could potentially be forthcoming.

Meanwhile Eugenie’s mother, Sarah Ferguson has previously revealed she will be an “excellent” grandmother in the future.

In a rare interview with the BBC, Fergie was asked whether she would make a good grandmother if Eugenie or Princess Beatrice have children.

She reportedly replied: “Excellent!

She added: “I used to write children’s books, and I am a child, I haven’t grown up.”

Many royal fans have already taken social media in their quest for another royal baby.

One eager user wrote on Twitter: “I hope Princess Eugenie is the next royal to have a baby.”

Another excited royal fan saw a post and already jumped the gun, the user said: “Ah I looked at that quickly expecting it to say Princess Eugenie having a baby!! Be lovely news. The Duchess would be so excited.”

Following the birth of Meghan and Harry’s first child Archie, Eugenie took to Instagram to share a cute picture of the new parents, which prompted a further surge of comments of an impending pregnancy.

Eugenie wrote in a caption to her 946,000 followers: “I’m just so happy for you!! @sussexroyal”

Meanwhile in another image on her Instagram feed of herself and her sister Beatrice, it was inundated with messages predicting a royal arrival.

One excited user wrote: “Cant wait till we get a Royal Baby Brooksbank announcement.

“You’re my favourite royal couple.”

To which another royal fan replied: “That would be exciting.”

Eugenie is set to be back in the royal spotlight on Saturday for the wedding of Lady Gabriella Marina Alexandra Ophelia Windsor to financier Thomas Kingston.

The first royal wedding of the year will take place at the same venue as Eugenie and Jack, who are expected to attend.

In Windsor, eagle-eyed royal fans will be looking for any sign of baby bump as royal baby fever continues to grip the nation.
