Anne, 71, did 113 official engagements in the first three months of this year, only five fewer than in the same period in the pre-Covid year of 2019. She has also been on duty more days than any other member of her family, working 47 days in the first quarter.
Big brother Prince Charles is next busiest with 102 engagements in 36 days. William, 39, was the busiest royal in the first quarter of last year but this time takes third spot with 67.
Sophie Wessex was on 66 and then the Duchess of Cambridge on 65.
The Cambridges have had a busy Caribbean tour.

Treble said: “Note that Kate and William are both in the top five for both 2021 and 2022.”
She said: “Last year William was number one because he did a lot of work with the NHS (he made phone calls that were each counted as an official engagement).
“So it’s too early to make any forecasts as to how the year will end.”
Camilla, 74, did 53 engagements, up on only 24 last year.
