Princess Anne “could see straight through” Meghan Markle when she first married into the Royal Family, TV physic Debbie Davies has claimed. The TV psychic suggested that the Princess Royal was a lot like Prince Phillip in their relationship with the Duchess of Sussex, meaning that they could both see her for what she is, since her wedding to Prince Harry.

The psychic suggested that she could sense there was always a “disaster waiting to happen” since she watched the Royal Wedding on TV, judging by the looks on the senior royals’ faces.

Speaking on the Princess Royal, Ms Davies told the Daily Star: “Princess Anne is fabulous, she just gives everything that she thinks away on her face.”

And added that the 72-year-old resembles a lot to her father, Prince Phillip in that sense.

Ms Davies continued: “Princess Anne is just like her dad was, Prince Philip could see straight through Meghan Markle.

“He could see her for what she is and so could I, on their wedding day I just sat there shaking my head. I was stood there saying ‘This is a complete and utter disaster waiting to happen’.”

As she went on commenting on the Duchess of Sussex, Debbie said that Meghan has a nerve to criticise the Royal Family and then turn up for the Jubilee celebrations.

She noted: “She has balls of steel, she can sit on that sofa with Oprah and say everything she’s said about the Royal Family then arrive in this country to take part in the Jubilee celebrations, that’s some brass neck that is.”

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry travelled to the UK back in June and attended some public engagements during the Platinum Jubilee celebrations.

The couple did, however, keep a low profile and returned to the US, where they reside, before the celebrations were finished.

Commenting on Harry and Meghan’s attendance in Jubilee celebrations, people who spoke to Express.co.uk had mixed reactions, with many admitting the couple should be here despite the dramatic turn of events after they left the UK.

Lisa, 51, who works at a doctor’s surgery, said: “Harry and Meghan: At the end of the day it’s their mum so they have every right to be here.

But added: “That’s just for the day, it’s not my opinion about them.”

Linsey, a pensioner from Kent, who travelled to London for Jubilee, noted they should have a more central role in the celebrations rather than being left out.

She said: “It’s quite sad that they are not part of the main party”, and added that the developments after they moved to the US were at the expense of the Queen’s reputation.

Linsey claimed: “It’s very sad for the Queen. Poor Queen! She’s had all that and she’s just amazing, she’s still smiling.”

After Prince Harry and Meghan stepped back as senior members of the Royal Family in January 2020 and moved to the US, they criticised the monarchy and accused the family of racism in an interview with Oprah Winfrey.

A royal fan claimed that the interview was poorly-timed. Evelyn, 32, who is a researcher said: “I don’t know, I’m really not keen on them at the minute.

“I think the whole Oprah thing was really poor timing. Be considerate, the Queen is old – no offence.”

Shamima, 25, who works for the NHS as a student nurse, claimed Harry and Meghan should “definitely” be attending and Meghan in particular was unfairly given a bad reputation.
