Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been living in LA since March 2020, a few months after they decided to step down from their roles in the British Royal Family. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have since welcomed their second child, daughter Lilibet Diana, in June this year. The couple are said to be relishing their life as a family of four, with Prince Harry loving spending time with his youngest child.

Speaking on Royally US, hosts Molly Mulshine and Christina Garibaldi spoke about the family:

Ms Garibaldi said: “We are hearing that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are really enjoying life as a family of four.”

Ms Mulshinne added: “It sounds like they’re having a great time.”

“We heard from our sources that Harry adores Lili, he loves reading her bedtime stories.”

“He has a real magic touch which is really nice. It sounds like they’re doing great.”

“Archie is really coming into his own as a big brother.”

“He’s coming up to two and a half, so he’s definitely at that mad toddler stage.”

Ms Garibaldi added: “It seems like he is definitely enjoying having a little sister around. As you said, Harry likes to read bedtime books.”

Dr Anna Whitelock on future levels of interest in the Royal Family

“They’re just living their best lives in California and just enjoying it.”

Lilibet was not the first member of the British Royal Family to be born in the US.

Maud Windsor, 51st in line to the throne and the child of Lord Frederick Windsor and his actress wife Sophie Winkleman was born in LA in 2013.

Lilibet will likely have a dual-citizenship, like her older brother, Archie.

The pair have been in the headlines this week after announcing they won’t flying to London next week to attend a memorial for Harry’s late mother.

Next Tuesday, Prince William and friends and family of the Princess will attend a party at Kensington Palace.

They will thank the donors who contributed to the memorial statue of her that he and his brother Prince Harry unveiled in July.
