Outrage as Sky News host claims Nigel Farage ‘likes Prince Harry wearing Nazi uniforms’

The Sky News host reported on Nigel Farage’s attack of the Royal Family in a speech he gave in Australia over the weekend. But as Mr Joshi explained the motivations behind the Brexit Party MEP’s bashing of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, he claimed Nigel Farage “likes Prince Harry wearing Nazi uniforms”. He said: “He doesn’t approve of social activism, he doesn’t like what’s happened to Prince Harry since he’s met Meghan Markle.

“He called him the Prince of wokeness in all that change that’s come about, not wearing Nazi uniforms.

“Nigel Farage clearly likes Prince Harry in Nazi uniforms ad having fun and being boisterous.”

The comment sparked the fury of Conservative and Brexit campaigner Darren Grimes who took it to Twitter to complain about the Sky News host.

He wrote: “What is wrong with these people? Had he said this about any other politician he’d have been rightly pulled up for it.

“My concern with this sort of rhetoric is that it delegitimises the severity of genuinely neo-nazi movements, of which Nigel Farage is not a part of to anyone sensible.

“People will increasingly just switch off. Both Sky and the BBC are increasingly a total joke.”

The Brexit Party leader lashed out at various members of the Royal Family in a shocking speech in which he called the Duke of Sussex  “terrifying” and appeared to blame his wife, Meghan Markle.

At the rightwing gathering, the British Brexit Party politician called Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s political endeavours “irrelevant”.

The event was the Conservative Political Action Conference, at which Mr Farage appeared last night.

Many will be shocked by his views on many members of the Royal Family.

He particularly criticised Meghan, Harry, the Queen Mother and Prince Charles.

The UK politician appeared disappointed in the apparent change in Prince Harry’s persona overtime. He has become more activism-minded in later life, although Mr Farage took issue with this.

“Terrifying,” Mr Farage said, “here was Harry, here he was this young, brave, boisterous, all-male, getting into trouble, turning up at stag parties inappropriately dressed, drinking too much and causing all sorts of mayhem.

“And then, a brave British officer who did his bit in Afghanistan. He was the most popular royal of a younger generation that we’ve seen for 100 years.

“And then he met Meghan Markle, and it’s fallen off a cliff. We’ve been told in the last week that Meghan and Harry will only have two children…and we’re all completely ignoring, the real problem the Earth faces, and that is the fact the population of the globe is exploding but no one dares talk about it, no one dares deal with it, and whether Prince Harry has two kids is irrelevant given there are now 2.6 billion Chinese and Indians on this Earth.”

Mr Farage appeared to be referencing a time when the young Prince dressed in a Nazi uniform for a 2005 fancy dress party, a move that was widely condemned and criticised.

Mr Farage also had very harsh words about the Queen Mother. He called her “overweight, chain-smoking gin drinker.”

However, the Queen he roundly praised, calling Her Majesty, 93, “an amazing, awe-inspiring woman, we’re bl**** lucky to have her”.
