The Duchess of Sussex is 50-1 with Coral to be the Democratic nominee for the 2032 election. Coral’s John Hill said: “It would come as no surprise to us if Meghan Markle had political aspirations so we are not ruling her out as having a shot at entering the White House.”
“We have Meghan in our betting to be the Democratic nominee for the 2032 presidential election and with Harry by her side, they could be a formidable pair.”
Bookmakers Ladbrokes has given the Duchess 100/1 of becoming US President in 2024.
She is the sixth most popular bet, behind Ivanka Trump, Andrew Cuomo, Nikki Haley, Dwayne Johnson and Mike Pence.
Jessica O’Reilly of Ladbrokes said: “Meghan wouldn’t be the first celebrity to become President.
“However this looks to be a step too far and at this stage she’s an outsider with the bookies.”
The Duchess has been keen to get involved with various political acts and recently has spoken out on America’s race protests.
She has been involved in humanitarian causes, particularly those that support women’s health and rights.

After she got engaged to Prince Harry, she retired from acting and announced that she would focus on humanitarian work.
She spoke of her pride of the London Grenfell community last week on the third anniversary of the fire.
Sh said: “I think back to when I met all of you and how you had all come together in the wake of what you experienced in your community.
“And now what you have done is such an inspiration, you continue to give back, you continue to to put love in action.
“And that’s really what Hubb is all about… we know it means love, but you are the example of love in action, and that is your purpose.”

Lady Campbell told the Daily Mail: “I know the Duchess of Sussex has political ambitions and I’ve been told that one day she wants to run for President.
“I think everything she is doing, leaving the Royal Family and moving back to California is part of her plan and she has taken Harry along with her.”
The 2020 United States election will take place on November 3.
The Democratic candidate Joe Biden is likely to take on Trump.
Some US states have already moved forward with their primaries despite lockdown measures to stop COVID-19.
