Meghan Markle birthday: What will Prince Harry and Baby Archie give Meghan? Gifts revealed

Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex, will ring in her 38th birthday on Sunday, August 4. This will be her first birthday as a mother, after she and Prince Harry welcomed Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor in May. And according to those in the know, Harry won’t let it go by unnoticed.

The royal insider told Fabulous Digital just what Prince Harry is planning on giving his wife for her birthday.

From Archie, Meghan will receive a picture frame with a special engraving, and from Harry, a piece of bespoke jewellery.

The source said: “This year there will be a birthday gift from Archie and the odds are on a sepia or black and white photograph of her precious son in a solid silver frame from Aspreys.

“The precious present is likely to have an engraving chosen by Harry that will make it extra special.

“And Harry has a weakness for designing jewellery for Meghan, so it is expected that the royal will design another stunning piece – likely to be earrings – as a Sussex surprise.”

Harry has given Meghan plenty of jewellery since they met, including her £122,500 engagement ring and a ‘push present’ before she delivered Archie, another ring.

Frames from Asprey can range anywhere from £175 to £925, depending on the size and design.

While Harry will be planning on pulling out all the stops, Meghan has previously said she doesn’t expect much for her birthdays.

Writing in her now-closed blog, The Tig, the Duchess said all she wished for was “More surprises, more adventure, more opportunities to grow, more days filled with giggles and cheeky jokes, more delicious meals, and more inspiration. Always more inspiration.”

She added: “My mom has always said that birthdays are your own personal New Year.

“Your own chance to make resolutions just for yourself and what you prognosticate for your year ahead.”

And it seems Meghan wants to keep things low-key when it comes to celebrations this year.

One source said: “Meghan’s world is pretty much just Archie.

“She’s so in love with being a mom, her mind’s on her baby boy, not her birthday.”

They added: “She prefers to use her day more introspectively.

“She’d much rather have a low-key dinner with her loved ones over a big blowout party.”
